Visiting Angels Great Lakes Bay was opened by Karen L. Martin in January 2000. After many years working as a Registered Nurse Karen saw the need for a service like Visiting Angels that allows couples and individuals the ability to live independently at home. Also in 2000, Karen was accepted into the NAPGCM National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. Currently Karen is one of the only GCM's in Saginaw County.
Visiting Angels provides services such as: Assistance with personal care items, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, and errands and shopping. Visiting Angels can provide up to 24 hour a day services for long term situations or just a couple hours here and there as needed.
Call our office to either have a packet of information mailed or emailed to you, or to set up a free home assessment in which a Visiting Angels owner will come out to the home and discuss how we might be able to help out. Of course there is no fee or charge with the free home assessment.
